Wayne State University – Research Enhancement Program in Arts & Humanities
We were among eight awardees of the university’s 2018 Research Enhancement Program in the Arts and Humanities, totaling over $208,000 (Principal Investigators: Rahul Mitra & Kelly Donnellan). Selected studies typically have cultural, social or economic impacts; build knowledge and appreciation of the arts and humanities; document or preserve important works of art; advance the use of technology in arts, design or the humanities; and more. Learn more about the awardees here.
Waterhouse Family Institute
The Waterhouse Family Institute (WFI), housed within Villanova University’s Department of Communication, was established by a generous gift from Lawrence Waterhouse Jr., ’59 A&S, founder of Waterhouse Investor Services, Inc. The WFI was founded to highlight the centrality of Communication in the creation of social change. Our goal is to serve as the center of an international network of Communication scholars, practitioners, and activists working to create a more just social world. We were honored to receive a 2018-2019 Research Grant from the WFI for this project (Principal Investigators: Mitra & Donnellan). Learn more about the WFI here.
